  1. The part that pierced my heart today was when the Savior said, "these are mother and bretheren, these which hear the word of GOD and DO IT!!!
How many times do I hear and not do?
I always need to remember the words of the Savior regarding service and fasting. It's important to remember that the rewards on earth are not worth giving up the eternal promises.
    I love you ladies!

  2. Ahhhh....thanks for pointing that out. I think that we all have one time or another regretted not following the promptings that we have been given. It is especially important to those of us that are mothers that also have children that rely upon us to follow those promptings.

  3. I related a little to Abram. He left everything he knew. I wonder how he felt. I mean yes he was going to be sacrificied and yes he would gain great blessings. But I wonder if it was lonely and confusing to start a life that may have been very different from the one he was raised in. I wonder if he became closer to the Lord because he and Sarah had to wander together away from family. They may have started their own traditions and ways. Ways they hoped would bring them closer to the Savior. Maybe ways that they never would have praticed or found if they had stayed in the land of their birth.
